Great Halloween door decorations are a nice way to welcome guests. The right Halloween decoration for your door will not only delight visitors, but you can match it to your outdoor "theme."
This here is my favorite Halloween door decoration! First off, I love the use of orange and black - traditional and classic.
I also love that this is a substantial wreath - you'll see if from the street! And the handpainted candy corn "Trick or Treat" accent just makes it pop.
This Halloween wreath for your door is made of orange and yellow mesh, with complimentary accent ribbons throughout.
This is a handmade item and is made to order, so you'll want to order early enough to get it by October.
Orange and black not your thing? This seller offers another wreath in purple and green, for a more whimsical color scheme!
And if you love this Halloween ribbon wreath like I do, you'll want to check out this seller's other items that include a fall wreath, a Christmas ribbon wreath, and other "all season" wreaths. Any of these would look beautiful decorating your doorway.

Another great way to decorate your door and welcome greeters for Halloween is with a hanging sign. This is a great option if, like me, you have a screen door in front of your actual door.
I've also used these on the outside of my home, hung from a small nail on the side of my house, or hanging from the overhang above my porch.
I think these work well if you just don't have a lot of space to decorate. For a small apartment, these would be perfect!
Halloween Door Decorations that Cover
My last picks are Halloween door decorations that cover up your door. These are a little campier than my previous picks, but can be a lot of fun.
All you need to do is secure them over your door. I suggest using other props to enhance your display. A ghostly greeter next to your door or some spiderwebs can really make your Halloween door decorations look great!

These remind me of one of my favorite Halloween decorations that I still use - it's a window cover that, when lit from behind, looks like a big, black cat is hissing from my window. It's a pretty cool effect!
