Another great way to decorate your door and welcome greeters for Halloween is with a hanging sign.  This is a great option if, like me, you have a screen door in front of your actual door.

I've also used these on the outside of my home, hung from a small nail on the side of my house, or hanging from the overhang above my porch.

I think these work well if you just don't have a lot of space to decorate.  For a small apartment, these would be perfect!

Halloween Door Decorations that Cover

My last picks are Halloween door decorations that cover up your door.  These are a little campier than my previous picks, but can be a lot of fun.

All you need to do is secure them over your door.  I suggest using other props to enhance your display.  A ghostly greeter next to your door or some spiderwebs can really make your Halloween door decorations look great!

These remind me of one of my favorite Halloween decorations that I still use - it's a window cover that, when lit from behind, looks like a big, black cat is hissing from my window. It's a pretty cool effect!

When you think of Halloween decorations, tombstones are one of the first things that come to mind. What I love about these is that even if you have just one, it makes a big impact on your display.

Animated Halloween Decorations

Animated Halloween decorations bring life to any area of your home.  If you're having a party, animations can be funny or gross, spooky or cute - adding a whole new experience for your guests.

When a Halloween decoration talks, sings, or scares, a spooky home or yard is brought to life.  I personally love interacting with decorations like this!  Don't you?

I've been to some homes that give off a really big scare when Halloween comes 'round.  Other homes decide to go a softer route with lighthearted witches, ghosts, and goblins that scare up a good time, as opposed to sending a kid off screaming in fright.

Outdoor Inflatable Halloween Decorations

When you're looking for outdoor inflatable Halloween decorations, you want good quality at a great price.  And the "spook factor" needs to be really high!

Whether you're after a more kid-friendly look for your yard or want something that will give the neighbors a fright when walking by, I've found some great items for you to look at.

I think it strikes a nice balance between too scary and too cutesy.  I think the scariness is also downplayed seeing as it's an inflatable, but I do believe it's scary enough for some of your darker yard scenes.
